Bed and Breakfast de Baron, is located on the Mayor Pipe Koolweg 5, Sellingen, Province of Groningen in the beautiful town Vlagtwedde . The farm is about 110 years old, and stands on a plot of approximately 1 hectare. The total area is lined with trees and shrubs , a guarantee of privacy and tranquility.

Our municipality stretches from the village to Vlagtwedde Ter Apel.
Sellingen, also called the 'Pearl of Westerwolde' is centrally located in the municipality, and you will find the town hall. There are many small 'hamlets', which you undoubtedly will encounter if on foot or by bicycle or by car near explored. Forest and heath, nature campsites, water (Sellingerbeetse), and many other attractions including the beautiful fortress Bourtange with the Jewish synagogue make a visit very worthwhile.

Also nearby is the beautiful province of Drenthe and of course there is also much to see and enjoy for young and old, to name a few: Northern Zoo Emmen, Veenpark in Barger-Compascuum, Hunebedcentrum in Borger.
The municipality borders on Germany, by car so you can visit Castle Clemenswerth in Sogel or Freizeitpark Schloss Dankern or Tierpark Thule. Shopping in the city of Papenburg or Leather Slapping or stroll along the Ems is one of the many possibilities. The province has a lot more to offer: the Hortus in Haren, the Groninger Museum in Groningen City or Martini, or relax in the Sauna in Papenburg.
